When the lever is in the loose position, the working device, slewing motor and travelling motor can move. When the lever is in the locked position, the working device, slewing motor and travelling motor cannot move.

How to Replace RCV/Remote Control Valve

Following these steps ensures a successful replacement of the travelling bullet head, maintaining the excavator’s performance and reliability.

Firstly, ensure that the excavator is parked on a level surface and switch off the engine. Then, use special tools to remove the old travelling bullet head. During the removal process, take special care not to damage the surrounding parts. Next, clean the walking unit of debris and old grease to ensure a clean replacement environment. Before installing the new travelling bullet head, check whether its quality is qualified and whether it is damaged or worn. After confirming that there are no errors, install the new travelling bullet head in place in the correct order and torque requirements, using special tools. During installation, pay attention to keep the balance of the travelling unit to avoid tilting or offsetting. After the installation is completed, carry out a trial check. Start the excavator and observe whether the travelling device operates normally and whether there is any strange noise or abnormal vibration. If abnormalities are found, stop the machine in time to check and troubleshoot.
